This R9 sets the bar, and more. A sub-8lbs non-weight-releived guitar with a 1-piece mahogany and an insane quilt top with sharp clarity and 3D effect. It's a M2M (Made-to-Measure) with hand-selected woods and the wise choice for a gloss finish, without that VOS shenanigans. It's true they don't make them like they used to, but if this is what the Custom Shop can deliver, I can live with that. I had to import it from Germany, thanks to the fine gentlemen at Musikhau Hermann. Check it its older sibling serial 961020, quite possibly an even more stunning R9.
