2005 - Gibson Custom Shop '68 Custom Reissue, Triburst

This guitar just pops, you open the case and it's a "hot damn!" type of moment. You don't need the perfect angle, the perfect light, the stars aligned, it just visually strikes in any condition. Plenty of monster tops in my collection, this one is up there, despite being the more tamed, pinstripe-y type. And boy, does it deliver. It's heavy, it's beefy and it's raunchy, musically it is among my best in the collection, fully set up by the magic hands of Bobby Longo. It's blemish free, just sporting some minor patina with it being a 20-yr-something beast of a guitar, and having spent a good chunk of its life in a case.
