1996 - Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul R9, Quilt, Iced Tea, Mint

Very few "quilty" beauties from the early production years of the historical reissues from the Custom Shop, the famous "good wood era"; a personal favorite with a very distinct look, and some insane bangers. Quilt tops are not precisely traditional, and this bookmatching is fairly unorthodox, but the wavy quilts are very sharp and well defined, even on the area closer to the neck. This R9 is in minty condition, but showing some natural finish checking. Not the Murphy Lab type, not finish break, chip or ding, just beautiful aging from 30 years of looking gorgeous.
