A very fine and pristine 1996 R9 with a very active flamed maple pattern that dances in the light. These R9s are the pinnacle of Gibson production, with many examples of incredible wood selection and flawless execution. Slightly beefier neck but not baseball size like a '57 re-issue, quite comfortable at .88" on the first fret. Serial 9-6418 is a time capsule, with the original hardshell case and hangtag.
