1982 - Gibson Les Paul Standard Hertage Elite, Cherry Sunburst

The Heritage series is Gibson's first official run of a historic reissue, outside of the many custom orders from select dealers. It's hardly representative of the original burst, and, in this "Elite" incarnation, even less so given the ebony fingerboard. I quite like that spec though, and even more so when coupled with a very fine quilt top, a real rarity in the early '80s. I had this imported from Germany, of all places, and it remains in a very fine, collector grade condition.
